Betraying Innocents

October 31, 1983, seventeen year old Johnny Baits vanishes without a trace, leaving the slumbering town of Chipawaha Creek, British Columbia reeling with his mysterious disappearance. Twenty-nine years later, The French family moves into his home, never realizing they're not alone in the house.

For seventeen year old Roseanna French moving to a strange new town is a problem she can handle. But even she's not prepared for the evil that has been sitting dormant for years... waiting. When seemingly harmless noises and creeping shadows at night leads to the murder of the people closest to her, Ana has to find a way to stop the evil before it can consume her completely and she can no longer wash the blood from her hands.

Rafael Ramirez is battling his own demons. Unlike Ana's, his has been haunting him for years. But running isn't an option. He has a mother, a brother and a sister looking to him to keep them safe. He doesn’t have time for pretty girls with issues, even if the sight of her makes him hope for things a guy like him doesn’t deserve. But when Ana asks Rafe for help, what can he do except give it? But what happens when the evil comes after his family? Can they stop it before it's too late or will it claim them the way it had claimed Johnny?

About the author:

Best-Selling author Airicka Phoenix lives in rainy British Columbia with her beautiful family. When she's not pounding away at the keyboard, she can be found reading, shining her collection of daggers or chilling with her kids.  She loves baking, gardening and reading. She also likes to travel and take pictures of everything she comes across. When asked, Airicka describes herself as a sarcastic basket case that has an unhealthy addiction to chocolate, old movies and really bad jokes. She loves to laugh, make friends and write. If she could have one wish granted, it would be to spend one day as a fly-on-the-wall inside Stephen King's mind. If she could have two wishes granted, she would ask for a castle dedicated entirely to her overwhelming collection of books.

Airicka also writes adult paranormal & contemporary romance under her alter ego, Morgana Phoenix

Her first novel, Capture Me, will be out 2014.

You can also add Airicka on any/all of her social networks. Making new friends is the highlight of her day!

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I can honestly say this book was AMAZING!!

Betraying Innocents was a perfect Halloween read filled with mystery, horror, ghosts and and of course a nice love story. Once again Airicka Phoenix has given the world a gift with her beautifully written words.

This book was wonderful! The story line was flawless and so were her characters I love how Rafe and Ana's relationship blossomed into love even though they were surrounded by misery and horror.

Rafe every girls dream guy and every fathers worst night mare was a perfectly swoon worthy book boyfriend. Ana although she thought she was going crazy and headed for the nuts house has a very clear head on her shoulders and and ferocious courage in her heart.

I was amazed of how quickly I was sucked into the story and held there until the end. The story left me wanting more from these characters and I'm really hoping Airicka keeps the story going.
