Starters by Lissa Price

HER WORLD IS CHANGED FOREVER

Callie lost her parents when the Spore Wars wiped out everyone between the ages of twenty and sixty. She and her little brother, Tyler, go on the run, living as squatters with their friend Michael and fighting off renegades who would kill them for a cookie. Callie's only hope is Prime Destinations, a disturbing place in Beverly Hills run by a mysterious figure known as the Old Man.

He hires teens to rent their bodies to Enders—seniors who want to be young again. Callie, desperate for the money that will keep her, Tyler, and Michael alive, agrees to be a donor. But the neurochip they place in Callie's head malfunctions and she wakes up in the life of her renter, living in her mansion, driving her cars, and going out with a senator's grandson. It feels almost like a fairy tale, until Callie discovers that her renter intends to do more than party—and that Prime Destinations' plans are more evil than Callie could ever have imagined. . .

My Review
This book was amazing and I know the author and publishers are being really hush, hush about it so I was really excited to get an ARC to read. Starters is nothing like I'd ever read before it's kind of like a cross between Cocoon and Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
In the matter of a couple months Callie finds herself living where ever she can to survive with no money, no parents, no real life, but to hide and run. She gets an opportunity to change the fate of herself and the only two people she has left in the world. All she has to do is let some old person rent her body "to relive" the good ole days. Wow it just goes to show how far a person will go to save the people they love. Of course if it sounds too easy and good to be true it never is.
This is a really good book. An easy read that sucks you in from the very beginning. Callie is a very strong heroine and Lissa did an excellent job bringing her to life. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a fresh new story and I can't to read the next book entitled Enders coming winter 2012.
